About Moneyline

An industry that moves billions deserves better than a forum from 2010.

Manifesto

Alternative business finance is a $20 billion market built on relationships: 1,200 funders, thousands of brokers and ISOs, and the attorneys, underwriters and software vendors who keep it running. It moves fast, it runs on trust, and until now it has run on tools nobody would choose.

The events are great. The conversation is real. But the news arrives late, the forums look like 2005, and the data is whatever someone paid to put in a PDF. Moneyline brings it all into one place, a daily habit for the people who fund Main Street.

We're not competing with deBanked and DailyFunder. We're replacing them.

Both earned their place. Neither built the platform this industry needs next.

That means premium reporting every weekday, channels as fast as the best chat apps, a deal box that turns asking around into a market, and rankings that can't be bought. It means building for the phone first, and verifying everyone.

Principles

Four rules we don't bend.

01

Trust first

Real names, verified firms, visible track records. Trust is the product; everything else is a feature.

02

Data-driven

Rankings, reviews and market numbers come from verified submissions and closed deals, never from a sales call.

03

Mobile-first

Deals get placed between meetings. Every screen is designed for one thumb before it's designed for a desk.

04

Never pay-to-play

No funder, sponsor or Enterprise customer can buy placement, ratings or coverage. If that ever changes, we've failed.

Methodology

How rankings are made.

The short version of the full methodology we publish with every ranking. If a number on Moneyline can't be traced to a verified source, it doesn't ship.

What we never do

  • Sell placement in rankings or search
  • Let sponsors review or edit coverage
  • Hide who wrote a review
  1. 01

    Sources

Funder rankings draw on broker submissions made through Moneyline, funding confirmations from both sides, and program data published by verified funders.

  2. 02

    Verification

Submissions count only when both counterparties are verified members. Reviews require a closed deal on record.

  3. 03

    Weighting

Volume is weighted by verified submissions over a rolling quarter, adjusted for deal size so a handful of large files can't dominate.

  4. 04

    Publication

Rankings publish quarterly with the full method and sample sizes. Funders see their own inputs before anyone else sees the results.

  5. 05

    Corrections

Anyone can flag an error. Corrections are logged publicly, with what changed and why.
