  3. 3Deals are posted as anonymized summaries (industry, amount, revenue, credit score range)

The Deal Box Is Open

Today, we're launching Moneyline Deal Box — a feature we've been building for the past six months based on one simple insight: every broker has deals they can't place, and every funder has appetite for deals they're not seeing.

Deal Box creates a transparent, real-time marketplace that connects the two. Think of it as a deal board where opportunity meets expertise — a centralized platform where the right deals find the right partners.

How Deal Box Works

For Brokers Posting Deals

When you have a deal that doesn't fit your current funder relationships — maybe it's an industry you don't specialize in, the amount is outside your usual range, or you're struggling to find a competitive offer — you can post it to the Deal Box in under 60 seconds.

Each posting includes an anonymized deal summary:

  • Industry vertical (e.g., restaurant, construction, medical)
  • Requested funding amount
  • Approximate monthly revenue
  • Credit score range
  • Time in business
  • State/region
  • Any special circumstances (existing positions, seasonal business, etc.)

Critically, merchant-identifying information is never shared in the posting. The merchant's name, business name, and contact information remain private until both parties agree to work together.

For Brokers and Funders Claiming Deals

Verified Moneyline members can browse the Deal Box feed, filtered by industry, amount range, geography, and other criteria. When you see a deal that fits your capabilities, you click "Express Interest" — which sends a notification to the posting broker.

From there, the two parties connect through Moneyline's secure messaging system to discuss terms, share the deal package (with merchant consent), and negotiate referral arrangements.

Beta Results: Better Than Expected

We ran a 30-day closed beta with 150 verified brokers and funders. The results exceeded our projections:

MetricResult
Deals posted212
Deals claimed138 (65% claim rate)
Average time-to-claim4.2 hours
Deals funded (within beta period)47
Total funded volume$6.8M
Average referral fee earned$4,200

The standout number: $6.8 million in funded volume from deals that would have otherwise died on the vine. These were deals that posting brokers had given up on or were about to decline — and they turned into real revenue for both the posting broker and the claiming partner.

Real Stories From the Beta

"I posted a $500K construction deal that I couldn't place anywhere — too large for my usual funders and a vertical I don't specialize in. Within 2 hours, a broker who specializes in construction had it claimed. It funded within a week. I made $15K for a 5-minute post." — Beta participant, anonymous

"As a funder, I love the Deal Box because it brings me deals I'd never see through my existing broker network. We funded 8 deals from the beta at an average size of $120K. That's nearly $1M in new origination volume from a channel that didn't exist before." — Beta participant, funder

“You're not buying a book. You're buying four hundred phone numbers that pick up.”

Trust and Verification

Deal Box is exclusively available to Moneyline-verified members. Verification requires:

  • Confirmed industry credentials (broker agreement with at least one funder, or funder registration)
  • Identity verification
  • Agreement to the Deal Box Code of Conduct
  • Minimum 30-day Moneyline membership

This verification layer ensures that every participant in the Deal Box is a legitimate industry professional — not a lead scraper, competitor, or bad actor.

Pricing

During the launch period (February - April 2026), Deal Box is free for all Moneyline members. Starting in May 2026, the feature will be included in all Moneyline Pro subscriptions ($49/month) and available to free members on a per-posting basis ($5/post).

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the merchant's information protected? Yes. Deal postings contain only anonymized summary data. Merchant-identifying information is shared only when both parties agree to work together, and the merchant has provided consent.

How are referral fees handled? Referral fees are negotiated directly between the posting broker and the claiming partner. Moneyline does not take a percentage of referral fees or funded amounts.

Can funders post on the Deal Box? Yes. Funders can post "looking for" listings describing the types of deals they're actively seeking, helping brokers identify the right funder match before submission.

Deal Box is now live for all Moneyline-verified members. Log in to your Moneyline account to access the Deal Box from the main navigation, or visit the Deal Box page to learn more.

Deal Box 2.0 is live. Every deal now carries a match score against 1,200+ funder programs, claim-to-fund tracking, and escrowed referral agreements. Post a file in #deal-box and you'll see which funders are likely to bite before you send a single email.

That multiple implies they're paying for the broker relationships, not the book. Curious how they retain them.

Consolidation is accelerating. Expect three more of these before year end.

Editors — can you do a follow-up with the funder side? Would love to hear their read.
